Job Title: Window Installation Manager/Surveyor

Location: Acemark Glazing - Patcham, Brighton

As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Window Installation Manager/Surveyor to join our team. Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Window Installation Manager/Surveyor to oversee and manage the installation process of our window and door projects. This role will be integral to ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the window and door industry, particularly in commercial and large-scale residential installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Final Surveys: Carry out final surveys on awarded projects to assess the site and confirm all technical details are captured accurately.
  • Collaboration with Sales Teams: Work closely with the sales team to provide technical support and ensure clarity on product specifications, installation processes, and project requirements.
  • Pre-installation Meetings: Organise and lead pre-installation meetings with the project team to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process on-site.
  • Material Coordination: Ensure all materials and resources required for the job are available prior to the commencement of installation, helping to streamline the process and minimise delays.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare and ensure all necessary documents are ready for the fitters, ensuring they are clear on their tasks and expectations for each project.
  • Site Inspections: Attend sites regularly to monitor the quality and efficiency of installations, addressing any issues or concerns as they arise.
  • Snagging Inspections: Perform snagging inspections as needed, identifying and organising any necessary snagging works to ensure project completion to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Client Handover: Conduct handover meetings with clients upon the completion of installations, ensuring they are fully satisfied with the work and all documentation is provided.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in the window and door installation industry, with particular expertise in commercial and large-scale residential projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of window and door systems, installation techniques, and materials.
  • Experience in managing installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Excellent communication skills, both with internal teams and external clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence (company car provided).
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet to resolve any issues that arise during installation.
