Industrial Door Engineer Team – Greater London area – £17-24 p/h + Overtime @ 1.5

Due to our recent success and expansion plans we are now currently recruiting for an experienced Industrial Door Engineer team to join a motivated and experienced team to cover industrial door installations work throughout the Greater London/M25 area. We are seeking a Lead Engineer plus a Trainee/Assistant.

Location: London area

Duration: Permanent

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £17-24 per hour (dependent on experience - Lead Engineer)

The Installation Engineer Role:

• Install commercial doors, ranging from new build construction sites to retrofits in existing buildings.
• Adapt engineering designs when necessary, leveraging your understanding of associated construction trades.
• Execute installations on main contractor (construction) sites with confidence.
• Ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

Experience and Skills required:

• 2 years’ experience in the Industrial Door industry (preferable)
• Good organisational and communication skills
• The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
• Relevant CSCS card
• Familiar with the use of a PDA
• Driving licence (essential)

It would be advantageous to hold suitable qualifications such as:

• NVQ Level 2
• CSCS Card
• IPAF
• SSSTS
• BS7036
• Electrical Qualifications
• Familiarity with electrical control equipment, including access controls, safety devices, and single and three-phase motor units

Working hours/days:

• Monday – Friday 8:30-5pm (normal working hours)
• Competitive Out of Hours rates

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £17.00-£24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
