The Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team. You will be working on insurance claims, residential projects including loft conversions and multi-room refurbishments, carrying out both first and second fix carpentry.

the role will involve traveling normally 1 hour-1 hour 30 minutes from Portsmouth,

Key Responsibilities First Fix

  • Stud wall installation
  • Floor joists and structural timber work
  • Roof and dormer construction
  • Timber framing
  • Stair installation
  • Structural trimming works

Second Fix

  • Door hanging (including fire doors)
  • Skirting and architrave
  • Ironmongery
  • Kitchen fitting
  • Boxing-in and finishing works
  • Flooring

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years carpentry experience preferred
  • Ability to read drawings and work to plans
  • Own tools
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Reliable, punctual and professional
  • Strong attention to detail

CSCS preferred but not essential depending on project.
