Salary: £35,000 + Company Van

Linton UK Maintenance Ltd is looking for a Fire Door Inspector to join our team. We specialise in fire door inspection, maintenance, repair and installation for residential, commercial and healthcare clients across Yorkshire and the North East.

We’re looking for someone who can carry out thorough inspections, explain their findings clearly and produce reports that help clients understand what needs attention.

The role

  • Inspect fire doors and record their condition, including photographs and clear notes of any defects.
  • Produce accurate inspection reports and recommendations for remedial work.
  • Discuss findings with clients and work with our team to plan any follow-up work.
  • Manage appointments and complete paperwork promptly and accurately.

You’ll have practical experience inspecting fire doors and a sound understanding of fire door components and common defects. You’ll be organised, comfortable producing clear reports and confident speaking with clients. A full UK driving licence is required, as the role involves travel to client sites.

We will need excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify potential hazards or deficiencies quickly. Good communication skills are essential.
