Carpenter / Fire Door InstallerAbout Us

Clearview Glaziers Ltd is a growing company specialising in glazing, fire-rated systems, and passive fire protection. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our Fire Door Division.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled carpenter or joiner looking to develop a career within the fire door industry. Full training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Carpenter / Fire Door Installer, you will be responsible for:

  • Installing fire doors, frames, and associated ironmongery.
  • Carrying out repairs, adjustments, and maintenance to existing fire doors.
  • Assisting with fire door upgrades and remedial works.
  • Fitting hinges, locks, closers, seals, glazing, and other fire-rated components.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with fire safety regulations.
  • Completing job paperwork, reports, and photographic records where required.
  • Working across commercial, residential, and public sector properties.
  • Maintaining excellent health and safety standards on site.

What We're Looking For

  • Experienced carpenter or joiner with a strong background in site-based carpentry.
  • Experience fitting doors, frames, ironmongery, and general joinery works.
  • Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.
  • Willingness to learn fire door regulations and installation standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • CSCS card preferred.
  • Previous fire door experience is beneficial but not essential, as training can be provided.
