The Opportunity

ABC Doors has recently joined forces with Teckentrup Door Solutions, now having the ability to both manufacture high specification doors, supply and install to many blue chip customers. We are in an exciting period of expansion throughout the UK, in this instance we are seeking applications, from Engineers based around Inverness & Aberdeen, to further strengthen our coverage nationwide.

The Role

We are seeking to expand our service division for repairs, installs and reactive call outs on Roller shutters, Industrial Doors, Automatic Doors, Barriers, gates and Loading Bays. You will be responsible for installations, fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance on a number of prestige contracts in commercial, industrial and public locations.

The Candidate - You!

You must have experience, however we will look to support with any relevant training during the induction period. Happy to be the face of the business, leaving a positive experience for the client. You will have a flexible approach to overtime and be willing to work on a call out rota.

We also welcome applicants with a background in mechanical installation and engineering, and we strongly encourage individuals with this expertise to apply.

Qualifications and Skills (desirable but not necessary):

  • Previous field experience within the industry, applicants with a background in mechanical installation and engineering are also welcomed.
  • Good knowledge and experience with all types of industrial doors.
  • IPAF and PASMA desirable.
  • Electrical skills would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Automatic Doors or EN 16005 (desirable)
  • Able to pass a CRB check (not required for all)
  • CSCS card would be ideal.
  • Full UK Driving license.
