About EPH

EPH Creative is one of the UK's largest event prop and furniture hire businesses, based at Thorp Arch near Wetherby with a sales office in London. We rent out over 20,000 props, furniture pieces and themed installations — most of it made and maintained in our own workshop — and support more than 2,000 events a year, from corporate parties and brand activations to exhibitions and festivals. Around 100 people work here. The business is busiest in early summer and in the run-up to Christmas.

Our Driver/Installers are the people who get all of that out of the door and onto site — and, for most clients, the only part of EPH they meet in person.

The role

You'll be driving 3.5T or 7.5T vehicles to venues and events across the UK, loading and unloading, and installing props and furniture once you get there. Some jobs are a straight drop and collect; others are full builds and de-rigs with a crew.

No two days look the same — one week a 7.5T to a festival build, the next furniture for a corporate launch.

What you'll do

• Drive 3.5T or 7.5T vehicles to deliver props and furniture to events and venues across the UK
• Load, unload and install — a genuine mix of driving and hands-on installing
• Work solo or as part of an install crew
• Being the face of EPH on site - great customer service on every drop, collect, install and de-rig
• Complete daily vehicle checks and keep job paperwork accurate

Who you are

You'll be at home here if you bring:

• Pride in the job. Every drop is loaded right, driven safely and delivered on time.
• A good manner on site. You're often the only EPH person the client meets — you handle that well.
• Reliability. Routes, loading times and event deadlines are achieved.
• Practical Experience. Assembling products and following build instructions when needed.
• Physical fitness. Long days on the road, heavy loading and plenty of lifting don't put you off.
• Flexibility. Nights, weekends and changing routes come with the events calendar.
• Confident behind the wheel. Can handle 3.5T and 7.5T on both city and rural roads, tight sites and tricky parking

What you'll need

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, practical work
• Happy working 5 days over 7, including regular nights and weekends
• Living within 45 minutes of Thorp Arch
• Customer-facing experience (an advantage)
• Class C1 licence with CPC (desirable, not essential)
