Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Door Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of industrial doors including but not limited to all types of roller shutter and sectional doors, electric and manual gates and barriers across various sectors. This role requires a strong technical background and a keen eye for detail to ensure that all products meet safety and quality standards.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing door systems, gates and barriers to ensure optimal functionality.
• Installation of industrial doors including but not limited to all types of roller shutter and sectional doors, electric and manual gates and barriers
• Collaborate with clients to provide technical support and address any concerns regarding door operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all projects, including maintenance records and installation procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to industrial doors.

Candidate requirements

• Proven experience in engineering or technical roles related to industrial doors, gates and barriers or similar systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and standards within the industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client interactions.
• Professional, organised, flexible, diligent and conscientious
• Automatic door and door entry system experience would be a great advantage
• CSCS Card
• Available to work overtime
• A DBS check will be required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
