Overview

We are a family-run double glazing company looking for an experienced, reliable self-employed window and door fitter to undertake subcontract installation work as and when required.

The role

  • Installing uPVC windows, doors and double-glazed units, aluminium bifolds, porches and conservatories
  • Removing existing windows and doors and completing installations to a high standard
  • Ensuring customers' properties are left clean and tidy
  • Providing professional workmanship and good customer service

Requirements

  • Proven experience in window and door installation
  • Own tools and a van
  • Public liability insurance
  • Ability to work independently and to a high standard

Working arrangement

  • Self-employed subcontract basis
  • Work offered as and when installations are available
  • Flexible arrangement
  • Rates agreed in advance, depending on the job and installation requirements
