Roller Shutter Door Engineer

SALARY / RATE: Basic start £28,500 depending on experience with OTE up to £45,000+ with bonus and overtime

POSITION: Permanent Position with immediate start

WORKING HOURS: 8.30am – 5.30pm Plus overtime and out of hours on call rota.

Roller Shutters / auto and static Door Engineer – Working Across the North and and borders.

Roller Shutters, Industrial Doors, static doors and auto door experience. With over 35 years industry experience, we carry out installations, repairs and maintenance to roller shutters, automatic and manual doors including access control systems.

Due continual growth we are looking for an experienced and skilled Roller Shutter Door engineer covering the Enfield and surrounding counties in the Southern Region.

Based from home, you will be required to attend call outs, maintenance work including fault finding and repairs on a wide range of roller shutters and industrial doors for a wide variety of high street and commercial customers.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Previous field work experience within the industry is essential.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Skills
  • Good knowledge / experience of all types of doors including Roller Shutters, Industrial and Automatic doors door hardware and door entry systems.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Good customer service skills
  • Physically fit and able to work at heights
  • Team player
  • Communication and interpersonal skills (both internal and external)
  • Responsible for maintaining the company vehicle and its stock
  • Responsible for accurate time sheet reporting, detailing jobs and travelling time.
  • Drivers licence essential
  • Additional Training and progression given
