About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Fire Door Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire doors to ensure full compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. You’ll play a key part in keeping buildings safe and protecting lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install fire doors and fire-rated frames to approved specifications
  • Carry out inspections, repairs, and replacements of existing fire doors
  • Ensure all work complies with current fire safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines
  • Accurately record work completed, including detailed reports and photographic evidence
  • Communicate clearly with clients, site managers, and the internal team
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and workmanship at all times
  • Survey and report on existing fire doors

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a fire door installer or joiner/carpenter with fire door knowledge
  • Understanding of fire safety regulations and certification requirements
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow installation specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Fire Stopping experience (advantage but not essential)
  • Valid CSCS card (preferred)
  • FIRAS / BM TRADA certification (advantage but not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Regular working away required.
