The Company: As a well-established market leader in the Void Property Security and Maintenance industry, we offer a wide range of services including the design, maintenance and installation of intruder alarm systems, CCTV towers & other physical security measures. Due to planned growth within the service delivery team, we are now seeking to recruit an experienced intruder alarm installation engineer.

As the face of Orbis Commercial, successful candidates will install, maintain and decommission RSI intruder alarms, CCTV & physical security measures; liaising with both our solutions & scheduling team to ensure this is carried out in the most cost-effective manner, alongside providing exceptional customer service at all times.

The role is varied and will include the following:

• Installation and commissioning of RSI intruder alarm & CCTV systems
• Determining the siting and coverage of system detectors and ancillaries
• Installation of physical security measures such as key safes, steel sheeting, steel doors & heras fencing
• Maintaining, fault finding, and diagnostics of security systems
• Completion of installation, corrective & decommissioning forms
• Stock management
• Maintaining of work van and equipment
• Liaising with the scheduling team, other engineers & Solutions team to maximise team efficiency
• Adhering to all Health & Safety processes and procedures

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:

• Full UK driving license
• Experience working with Intruder Alarm Systems
• Awareness of current standards & regulations, such as those certified by SSAIB
• Be hardworking, flexible and able to use own initiative
• Able to multitask and effectively prioritise workload
• Ability to work alone, as well as within a team
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Great attention to detail
