Overview

We are seeking a motivated and versatile General Labourer/Handyman/woman to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of construction, maintenance, and repair projects across different sites. You will play a vital part in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties

  • Assist with general construction tasks including carpentry, roofing, masonry, and painting to support ongoing projects.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs such as plumbing fixes, electrical work, and fabrication tasks using hand tools and power tools.
  • Support site preparation by moving materials, cleaning work areas, and organizing supplies to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Operate various tools and equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
  • Conduct minor repairs or installations around properties, including drywall patching, door hanging, or fixture installation.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete project milestones efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures and reporting hazards promptly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience or strong interest in construction trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing or electrical work.
  • Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches) and power tools (drills, saws).
  • Ability to operate fabrication equipment or perform welding tasks is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety standards relevant to construction sites and maintenance work.
  • Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to completing tasks efficiently.
  • Additional skills such as roofing, electrical experience, or masonry will be considered an asset.
