Company Overview:

Sorrells Custom Wine Cellars is a renowned company dedicated to crafting high-quality, custom metalwork pieces for residential and commercial spaces. With a commitment to excellence and precision, we pride ourselves on delivering bespoke solutions that exceed our clients' expectations. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metalworker to join our team.

Position Overview:

You will be responsible for assembling and fitting custom metalwork pieces with exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. Working closely with our design and production teams, you will play a key role in bringing our clients' visions to life by ensuring the precise installation of metalworking elements in various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Precision Fitting: Execute the precise fitting and installation of custom metalworking pieces, including doors, wine cellar components, and other fixtures, according to design specifications and client requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the fitting process, ensuring finished products meet our standards of excellence.
  • Material Handling: Handle and work with a variety of metals, including alloy metals, while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborative Communication: Collaborate effectively with the design, production, and installation teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of metalworking projects.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the fitting process, implementing creative solutions to ensure project deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Tool Maintenance: Maintain and care for metalworking tools and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal condition for use and adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
  • Client Interaction: Interact professionally with clients during installation projects, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Travel: Install fabricated metal works on-site globally, requiring international travel.


  • Proven experience as a metal fabricator with welding (MIG, TIG).
  • Proficient in using a variety of metalworking tools and machinery.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting designs.
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to tackle a variety of tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and interact professionally with clients.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols when handling materials and operating equipment.

  • Press Brake Operator: 1 year (preferred)
