Multi-Skilled Tradesperson

Location: North West (Merseyside, Cheshire & Greater Manchester)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of repair, maintenance and refurbishment works across both occupied and void residential properties.

This role is ideal for a tradesperson with a strong background in joinery who also possesses skills in wall tiling, basic domestic plumbing, vinyl floor installation and plastering repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • General joinery repairs and installations including doors, frames, skirting boards and kitchen units.
  • Wall and floor tiling repairs and replacements.
  • Basic domestic plumbing works including tap replacements, toilet repairs and pipework alterations.
  • Installation of vinyl flooring to kitchens, bathrooms and communal areas.
  • Patch plastering and minor repairs.
  • Carrying out responsive repairs, void property works and planned maintenance projects.
  • Diagnosing building defects and recommending suitable repair solutions.
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
  • Ensuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Tradesperson.
  • Strong joinery background with relevant qualifications or demonstrable experience.
  • Competent in:
  • Wall tiling
  • Basic domestic plumbing
  • Vinyl floor laying
  • Basic plastering and repair works
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience working within social housing, local authority or responsive repair contracts.
  • Multi-trade qualifications.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Asbestos Awareness Training.
  • DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
