About Virtus

Virtus Integration is a specialist residential AV and smart home company. We design and install premium home cinemas, media rooms and smart home systems. We're a small, close-knit team and every project carries our name, so quality matters.

The Role

We're looking for a skilled carpenter to build the rooms our technology lives in. You'll handle the joinery, cabinetry and finishing on our cinema and media room projects, and support the wider team with cable installation and first fix. This role suits someone who takes pride in a perfect finish and wants to learn specialist skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • First and second fix carpentry
  • Hanging doors, including fitting hinges, handles and locks
  • Building bespoke MDF cabinetry and AV furniture
  • Studwork and building cinema stages and risers
  • General painting and decorating
  • Learning and carrying out fabric track wall systems (training provided)
  • Supporting colleagues with cable installation and general AV/electrical first fix
  • Working on your own on site and liaising directly with clients

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in first and second fix carpentry
  • Confident building MDF cabinetry to a high standard
  • Excellent attention to detail – we deliver premium media rooms and cinemas
  • Able to work alone and represent Virtus professionally with clients
  • Adaptable and comfortable with fast-changing requirements
  • A team player who's happy working in a small team
  • Willing to work away and do longer hours when required
  • Keen to learn new skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Based within a reasonable commute of our Hartlebury office

What We Offer

  • Salary: £37,500 per year

  • 28 days holiday: 20 flexible days plus 8 bank holiday/fixed days

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
