Construction Sales Consultant

Extensions, Conversions & Home Improvements

Location: Central Scotland

Areas Covered: Lanarkshire, Glasgow, Falkirk & Surrounding Areas

Salary

Uncapped Commission Only

Realistic OTE: £50,000 - £100,000+ per year

Top performers can earn significantly more.

This is a self-employed commission-only position offering exceptional earning potential for motivated individuals who are comfortable working in a performance-based environment.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an additional Construction Sales Consultant to join our established and successful team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in construction sales, home improvements, surveying, installation, or a strong sales background who is looking to develop a long-term career within a well-established and respected business.

The Role

You will attend pre-arranged appointments with homeowners who have requested quotations for their projects.

All appointments are company-generated and pre-booked by our dedicated appointments team. No cold calling, canvassing or door knocking is required.

Your role will be to:

  • Understand the customer’s requirements and vision for their project• Discuss design options and specifications• Provide guidance on suitable products and construction solutions• Explain the construction process and likely project requirements• Produce quotations and proposals• Follow up opportunities and secure orders• Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process• Work closely with our design, survey and operational teams

This is a field-based role covering Central Scotland.

Who We’re Looking For

We would particularly like to hear from candidates with experience in:

  • Extensions• Conservatories• Conservatory Roof Conversions• Sunrooms• Garage Conversions• Garden Rooms• General Construction• Home Improvements

However, we are equally interested in speaking with:

  • Experienced sales professionals looking for a new challenge• Estimators or surveyors• Joiners, builders, conservatory installers or tradespeople looking to move into sales• Individuals with a proven track record in face-to-face sales

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• A professional and positive attitude• Strong customer service skills• The ability to build rapport and trust with homeowners• Good organisational and time management skills• A willingness to learn and develop• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Knowledge of building regulations, planning and warrant procedures would be advantageous but is not essential, as training will be provided.

Working Hours

As our customers are often unavailable during normal working hours, candidates must be comfortable with:

  • Evening appointments• Flexible working arrangements• Occasional weekend appointments based on customer demand
