Protek Secure Systems are a successful MANCHESTER based company who specialise in the installation, Service and Repair of all types of industrial doors nationwide who are growing at an exciting rate and are now looking to employ Experienced Automatic Door Engineers to join our team on a full time, permanent basis.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automatic Door Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play an important role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automatic door systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet the highest safety standards and client satisfaction

This position is based from our office in Heywood, and the engineer will be responsible for attending jobs with clients in various locations throughout the UK

Benefits:

Essential Requirements:

· Minimum 5 years door engineer experience.

· UK driving license.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to follow instructions and take initiative.

· Willingness to travel and work at various locations as needed.

· A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

· Qualified to BS EN16005 & BS 7036 for Automatic doors would be advantageous

· CSCS Card and IPAF would be advantageous

Preferred Requirements:

· Experience with Record, Geze, FAAC, Label, Horton

Responsibilities:

· Install and commission automatic door systems according to design specifications and industry standards.

· Conduct thorough testing to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.

· Perform routine maintenance checks on automatic doors to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal performance.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with existing automatic door systems and implement effective repairs.

Customer Support:

· Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally.

· Educate clients on the proper use and maintenance of automatic door systems.

Documentation:

· Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

· Generate reports for clients and internal stakeholders as needed.

Training:

· Provide training and guidance to clients and other team members on the proper use and maintenance of automatic door systems.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Previous experience with automatic doors is essential, this position will be a field-based role.

· Technical proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of automatic door systems.

· Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry standards.

· Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

· Full driving license and willingness to travel throughout the UK
