We are seeking a skilled Window/Door Installer to join our team temporarily, which may lead to a more permanent role . The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in installation, with the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role involves working with various materials (UPVC, Ali, composite) and tools to ensure high-quality installations that meet our clients' specifications. A commitment to safety and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Install windows and doors according to specifications and building codes.
• Read and interpret schematics to determine installation requirements.
• Use power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
• Fabricate components as needed for custom installations.
• Ensure proper sealing and insulation of installed products to enhance energy efficiency.
• Perform masonry work as required for installation, including repairing or modifying existing structures.
• Conduct regular checks on installed products for quality assurance and functionality.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and roofers, to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in window and door installation or a related field is preferred.
• Strong skills in building, carpentry, masonry, welding, plastering, and plumbing are advantageous.
• Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively is essential.
• Able to quote and survey accurately and confidently is a bonus
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
• A valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.
