Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Multi - Trade Builder / Carpenter to join the Small Works / Minor Works Dedicated Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to various Agreed Small Quoted Works, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a wide range of construction skills in a dynamic environment, supporting the realisation of residential, commercial, or industrial structures.

We are looking for a skilled tradesmen to join the team and take control, ownership and responsibility for all works complete - with support of the dedicated small works team

These works are across various location throughout the UK, and will require Working Away, Evening Works and Driving to locations. This role is FULL TIME - on a CIS / Self Employed Basis.

We will either contribute towards your own Commercial Van (Paid Mileage and Van Allowance) - Or offer a company van - for company use only.

KEY REQUIREMENTS - CARPENTRY (Fire Door Installation, Window Install, Carpentry) PLUMBING - Basic Plumbing requirements, Painting, and General Building Repairs / Install.

Duties

  • Building, Installing, Repair Various Client Requirement - using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
  • Perform carpentry and joinery tasks to construct frameworks, fixtures, and fittings
  • Execute roofing work, including installation and repairs, ensuring weatherproofing standards are met
  • Carry out heavy lifting tasks safely to move materials and components around the site
  • Conduct construction painting to prepare surfaces for finishing or protection
  • Install plumbing (water feed / Waste) and fixtures as required for building projects
  • Undertake masonry work, including bricklaying and blockwork, to create durable structures
  • Assist with electrical installations where applicable, adhering to safety regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining quality standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, roofing, masonry or electrical work within a construction environment
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for various building tasks
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems and construction painting techniques is desirable
  • Experience with masonry work and electrical installations is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and safety compliance
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are preferred but not essential
