Surrounded by a picturesque wildlife haven, the hotel offers modern amenities including 141 well-appointed bedrooms, 10 conference and meeting rooms with a capacity of up to 300 guests, and a fitness center. Role Description

This is a part-time (16hrs weekly), on-site position for a Front Desk Receptionist at DoubleTree by Hilton Nottingham - Gateway Hotel. The Front Desk Receptionist will be the first point of contact for all guests, responsible for greeting visitors, managing phone inquiries, handling check-ins and check-outs, assisting with reservations, and offering high-quality customer service. Additionally, the role involves managing administrative and clerical tasks to support front desk operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions of the reception area.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Phone Etiquette and Receptionist Duties
  • Strong Clerical Skills for managing records and scheduling tasks effectively
  • Exceptional Communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and team members
  • Proven experience in delivering outstanding Customer Service in a hospitality environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail and efficiency
  • Familiarity with hotel reservation systems or similar software is a plus
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
