Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CCTV Drain Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and assessing drainage systems using specialised CCTV equipment. (Minicam Solo Pro, I-Touch Software etc)

The ideal applicant will possess a strong understanding of drainage infrastructure, safety procedures, and technical diagnostics to ensure accurate survey reports and effective solutions for clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving within the utilities sector.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CCTV equipment to inspect domestic drainage systems
  • Coding experience would be an advantage, but full training can be provided.
  • Must be able to sonar drain trace and locate defects, concealed chambers etc
  • Maintain detailed records of survey findings through site-specific forms we will provide
  • Must be able to understand and compile simple site plans
  • Have a good knowledge of drain repair techniques e.g. Cipp Lining and Patch Lining in order to assist with report writing
  • Experience of high pressure water jetting an advantage
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
  • You must have at least two years experience in drain surveying
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Proven ability to work safely in potentially hazardous environments while following strict safety protocols.
  • Confined space certification & Shea (Drains & Sewers) certification an advantage
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to document findings accurately and clearly.

Pay: £38,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
