Full job description

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at a busy city centre traditional pub. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pouring pints, serving drinks to patrons, speaking with our valued locals and ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including real ales, lagers, spirits, and wines
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Assist in restocking and replenishing bar inventory

We would like to see someone with experience in the following:
- Proficient in bartending techniques and customer interaction
- Strong knowledge of basic maths for handling payments
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is advantageous
