Full Job Description

• Arrive to site (TS18 Location/ NEW AMAZON DEPOT) in your own vehicle. Route will be picked and ready for you to collect.
• We will provide you with a Fully leased/insured Amazon van with no cost to you.
• Fuel via our SHELL fuel cards at no cost to you.
• Follow safe driving methods (training is provided) and stick to traffic rules and regulations.
• Deliver customer parcels across Middlesbrough / Stockton / Darlington / Teesside / North Yorkshire & surrounding areas.
• State of the art delivery app technology provided (No cost to you), to navigate on your own smart phone.
• Friendly and helpful customer service is essential. Communicate clearly with customers and ensure all parcels are delivered.
• Accurately deliver parcels, ranging from small envelops to 25KG packages, from hazmat to expensive one time password and age verification required parcels.
• Follow instructions on the delivery app.
• Keep a record of any serious issues encountered while out on road.
• Contact the on site manager for any support you need when on road. Communicate any issues clearly. Return to station at end of the night to complete the debrief.

Requirements (What You Will Need)

• Full UK Driving licence.
• No more than (maximum) 6 points on license.
• AGE 21 + (Insurance Requirement).
• Pass a basic Background Check & Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Physically able to do a full multi-drop route.
• Flexible working (Able to work weekends when needed/minimum x1 weekend day).
• Professional, Reliable, Hard worker with a POSITIVE attitude.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role is preferable but NOT essential.
