Job description

Experienced full-time gardener /handyman wanted for private estate in Sevenoaks , must be able to drive due to location and be comfortable working mainly outdoors in all weathers.
You will be solely responsible for the upkeep of the grounds ,so physical fitness is required as the role will involve the use of heavy machinery and knowledge of chemicals and fuels used around the garden and machines is essential.

Main duties to included but not limited to as it will be varied depending on needs and seasons

Formal laws to be kept in immaculate condition

Hedges and flower beds to be maintained so Knowledge of horticulture to look after well-established plants and trees .

Driveway and gates to be attended to and deliveries seen to

Woodland areas and fences to be checked and upkeep where necessary including chainsaw work , including mowing of the field.

Garden Machinery knowledge as you will be required to carry out Basic upkeep of cars , garden machinery keeping them clean, tidy and topped up and in working order

occasional driving

Pool and hot tub treatment of chemicals and cleaning filters

Patio jet washing and keeping entertaining areas clean and tidy

Attend to any household handyman jobs, painting, lightbulbs, moving furniture, repairs , gutter maintenance ,clearing of any rubbish and bonfires when needed

Planting care and harvest of fruit and vegetables
we are looking for an all-rounder , who can show initiative and has attention to detail and take pride in your work to keep the grounds looking immaculate .

Package to include competitive salary based on experience , paid holiday and pension.
Hours are ideally 7.30 to 4.30pm Monday to Friday( negotiable) - 1 hour lunch
