Job Title: Live In Property Manager
Reports to: Business Manager
Location: CA17 - Cumbria
Hours: 40 per week
Department/Company: Paragon

Supporting within GAAP Investments, we are a fast paced and growing Company. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Live In Property Manager to support the Business Manager.

Job Summary:

The live in Property Manager will have responsibility for the overall management, maintenance, and presentation of serviced accommodation units to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Duties include property upkeep, housekeeping, minor repairs, stock management, and guest engagement through marketing efforts. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities:

Maintain high property standards

  • Clean and prepare all properties to ensure they meet guest-ready standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections and address any issues promptly.
  • Restock essential supplies and welcome packs for arriving guests.
  • Manage laundry, including washing, drying, and storing linens.
  • Ensure consistency in presentation across all accommodation units.
  • Be responsible for pest prevention, ensuring controls are in place.

Oversee maintenance & groundskeeping

  • Perform minor maintenance tasks such as light fixture replacements and small repairs
  • in line with risk assessments.
  • Maintain outdoor areas, including gardens, patios, and driveways.
  • Identify and report significant maintenance concerns requiring professional attention.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for larger repairs and servicing.
  • Complete fire, health & safety checks, including alarm testing as per Company policy.

Manage inventory & supplies

  • Monitor stock levels for cleaning supplies, linens, household essentials and welcome
  • information for guests.
  • Place and track orders to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Maintain proper storage organisation for all supplies, ensuring items provide are in line with food safety legislation such as allergen controls.

Enhance guest experience & engagement

  • Provide a welcoming and professional environment for guests.
  • Collect and respond to guest feedback to improve services.
  • Assist in local area research to provide recommendations for visitors.
  • Ensure all guest communication is handled efficiently.
  • Be on call for any guest related issues that may occur during stays.

Support marketing & business growth

  • Capture high-quality photos for promotional purposes in line with GDPR.
  • Assist in managing social media accounts to increase engagement.
  • Contribute to marketing activities to attract new bookings.
  • Stay updated on local events and trends to enhance guest offerings.
  • Maintain a professional approach at all times, representing the Company in a professional manner.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proactive in approach
  • Problem solving abilities.
  • Experience in property management, hospitality, housekeeping or similar.
  • Competent to carry out basic maintenance and DIY responsibilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of using social media
  • Ability to build and maintain strong workingrelationships.
  • Strong English language both written and orally
  • Driving licence

Pay: Competitive Salary (Accommodation Provided)
