Our client is currently looking for a Regional Mobile Caretaker to provide ongoing maintenance support across their extensive portfolio of properties in and around the central Sheffield area.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and a ‘hands on’ attitude towards work.

It is essential candidates have a full driving license for this role. If not, you need not apply.

Skills & Experience

• General trade related maintenance skills and experience
• Happy working in a mixture of indoor and outdoor environments
• Full UK driving license
• Comfortable carrying out daily cleaning tasks, such as hoovering, mopping and wiping down of windows and surfaces
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Flexibility with overtime and occasional emergency call outs

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and tidy, including the removal of household and industrial waste from properties
• Conduct regular fire alarm, access control, lifts and emergency light testing
• Mow lawns and surrounding grass areas, weeding and planting flowers
• Maintain the surrounding areas, such as gardens, footpaths and driveway areas
• Comply with company health and safety policy at all times, including raising HSE concerns to Site Manager
• Support Multi-Skilled Trades Technicians with various installation, maintenance and repair tasks
• Report any escalated maintenance issues to Maintenance Manager
