Osborne Home Services is a new local home-services company connecting customers with reliable, experienced professionals.
We are looking for self-employed window cleaners to complete residential jobs across Kings Hill, West Malling, Larkfield, Maidstone and nearby areas.
This is flexible subcontracting work. There are no fixed hours and no obligation to accept every job. When suitable work becomes available, you will receive the job details, location and contractor payment amount before deciding whether to accept it.
We manage the customer booking, communication and payment so you can focus on completing the work.
What you’ll be doing:
- Completing residential window-cleaning jobs
- Arriving within the agreed appointment window
- Providing a friendly and professional service
- Treating customers homes with care
- Taking simple before-and-after photographs when requested
- Confirming when each job has been completed
- Raising any problems or additional work before leaving the property
What we’re looking for:
- Previous professional window-cleaning experience
- Your own suitable vehicle and window-cleaning equipment
- Public liability insurance
- A smartphone with access to WhatsApp
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable transport and punctual timekeeping
- The right to work on a self-employed basis in the UK
- A professional, tidy and trustworthy approach
A basic DBS check is desirable but not essential initially.
How the work operates
- You remain fully self-employed
- Work is offered on a job-by-job basis
- You choose which jobs you want to accept
- The location and contractor payment are provided in advance
- Osborne Home Services collects payment from the customer
- Contractor payments are made after successfully completed jobs
- There are no joining fees or commission charges for contractors
- There is no guaranteed minimum amount of work
You will be responsible for your own tax, National Insurance, insurance, equipment, travel costs and other business expenses.
