Live-In Dual Person Roles Offered : Housekeeper & Gardener

We are seeking experienced, reliable, and proactive candidates to join our private household in a live-in position. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated pair who enjoy working together to maintain a beautiful home and grounds to the highest standards.

Housekeeper

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day care and presentation of the home, ensuring it is maintained to an exceptional standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the property.
• Changing bed linen and preparing guest accommodation.
• Managing household supplies and reporting maintenance issues.
• Providing a warm, discreet, and professional service to the principals and guests.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience in a private household or luxury hospitality environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A flexible, positive, and can-do attitude.
• High levels of discretion, trustworthiness, and professionalism.

Gardener

The successful candidate will be responsible for the care and maintenance of the gardens and external areas, ensuring they remain attractive and well-presented throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lawn care, hedge cutting, pruning, planting, and weeding.
• Seasonal maintenance of flower beds, shrubs, and trees.
• General upkeep of pathways, driveways, patios, and outdoor furniture.
• Operation and routine maintenance of garden machinery and equipment.
• Monitoring plant health and implementing appropriate treatments when required.
• Assisting with other estate maintenance tasks as needed.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proven gardening or horticultural experience.
• Knowledge of seasonal planting and garden maintenance.
• Practical DIY or general maintenance skills would be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and take pride in maintaining high standards.
