Job Title: Tarmac Surfacing Specialist with Resin Experience

Location: Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire (based in Dunholme)

About Us: StoneSet Resin is a local, family-owned surfacing business with over 25 years of experience. We install tarmac driveways, paths and commercial surfaces, and specialise in premium resin-bound surfacing for driveways, patios and paths. We serve domestic and commercial clients across Lincolnshire, Newark and Nottinghamshire, offering 5 year installation guarantees and 20 year product guarantees.

Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced tarmac surfacing expert with solid resin-bound surfacing skills. You will work on a wide variety of surfacing projects for both domestic and commercial clients. You should be able to install new tarmac surfaces and prepare existing ones for resin overlay. Strong finishing skills and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay and compact tarmac driveways, paths and commercial surfaces to a high standard

• Prepare surfaces correctly for resin-bound installation, including cleaning, priming and repairing existing tarmac

• Install resin-bound surfacing: mixing natural aggregates with UV stable resin, laying even and permeable finishes

• Ensure compliance with regulations including SUDS and New Roads and Street Works Act

• Work effectively on slopes and challenging terrain while maintaining slip-resistance and drainage

• Perform quality checks and finish to a sharp, clean standard

• Liaise with clients and team members throughout the project

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience in tarmac surfacing (driveways, car parks, paths)

• Hands-on experience with resin-bound surfacing, including mixing, laying and finishing

• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and product compatibility (e.g. waiting for freshly laid tarmac to cure)

• Understanding of permeability, SUDS compliance, UV resin and slip-resistance best practices

• Ability to use surfacing machinery safely and efficiently

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to a high-quality finish

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills with customers and team members
