We are looking for a skilled, reliable and motivated Maintenance Operative to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual with a background in exterior property maintenance, gutter repairs and professional exterior cleaning.

The successful candidate will undertake a wide range of maintenance, repair and cleaning services across domestic, commercial and industrial properties.

Key Responsibilities

The role will involve carrying out a variety of exterior maintenance, repair and cleaning services, including:

• Gutter Repairs & Maintenance – Identifying and repairing leaking, damaged or poorly functioning guttering, including replacing brackets, seals, joints and sections of guttering.
• Gutter Cleaning – Clearing gutters, downpipes and rainwater systems across domestic, commercial and industrial properties.
• Roof Cleaning & Moss Removal – Carrying out safe and effective roof cleaning, moss removal and preventative treatments.
• Pressure Washing – Professional cleaning of driveways, patios, pathways, building exteriors and commercial surfaces.
• Soft Washing – Applying specialist low-pressure cleaning treatments to suitable exterior surfaces.
• Window Cleaning – Using traditional methods and water-fed pole systems.
• Fascia & Soffit Cleaning – Cleaning and maintaining exterior roofline components.
• General Exterior Maintenance – Identifying defects and undertaking minor repairs and preventative maintenance to external building elements.
• Working at Height – Safely operating access equipment, including ladders, mobile towers and MEWPs where appropriately trained and authorised.
• Site Inspections – Identifying maintenance issues, reporting defects and recommending appropriate remedial works.
• Customer Service – Communicating professionally with customers and ensuring all works are completed to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

• Previous practical experience in property maintenance, gutter repairs, exterior cleaning or a similar trade.
• Good knowledge of guttering systems, common defects and repair methods.
• Competence using hand tools, power tools and professional cleaning equipment.
• Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
• A good understanding of health and safety procedures, particularly when working at height.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
• A reliable, hardworking and proactive attitude.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• IPAF/MEWP licence – highly advantageous.
• Experience carrying out gutter repairs and roofline maintenance.
• Experience working on commercial and industrial properties.
• PASMA certification.
• Working at Height training.
• Experience using pressure washing, soft washing and water-fed pole systems.
• Relevant construction, maintenance or trade qualifications.
