Are you an experienced carpet cleaner looking for regular work, a company van, professional equipment, and a strong team behind you?

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Self-Employed Carpet Cleaner / Multi-Skilled Cleaning Operative to join our growing cleaning company in London.

This is a varied, hands-on role. Your main responsibility will be professional carpet and upholstery cleaning, but you will also support our cleaning teams by transporting cleaners and equipment between jobs and carrying out additional exterior cleaning services.

We organise the jobs, scheduling, and customer communication, so you can concentrate on providing a professional service and completing your work to a high standard.

Your Responsibilities

• Professional carpet steam cleaning
• Sofa and upholstery cleaning
• Mattress steam cleaning
• Curtain cleaning where suitable
• Treating stains using appropriate professional products and equipment
• Transporting professional cleaning equipment between job sites
• Helping our cleaning teams by transporting cleaners and their equipment to other jobs when required
• Pressure washing patios, driveways, terraces, and other exterior areas
• Exterior window cleaning
• Basic gardening and outdoor maintenance when required
• Looking after the company van and professional equipment
• Communicating professionally with customers
• Ensuring each job is completed to a high standard

What We're Looking For

• Carpet and upholstery cleaning experience is preferred
• Full UK driving licence
• Confident driving a van around London
• Good knowledge of London roads, parking restrictions, and different parking zones
• Must speak English
• Reliable, punctual, and well organised
• Physically fit and comfortable carrying and moving professional cleaning equipment
• Professional and customer-friendly attitude
• Willingness to carry out a variety of cleaning and exterior maintenance tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-employed status or willingness to work on a self-employed basis

Experience with pressure washing and exterior window cleaning would be an advantage. Additional training can be provided where required.
