London House Agent is a fast-growing rent-to-rent company that currently manages over 100 properties across London.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills to handle various maintenance and repair tasks efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently and as part of the team. The Handy Man will be responsible for ensuring that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard, contributing to the overall functionality and Safety of the premises.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties.
• Handle minor plumbing tasks, including fixing leaks and clearing blockages.
• Complete basic electrical tasks, such as replacing light fixtures and outlets.
• Undertake carpentry tasks, including repairing doors, windows, and furniture.
• Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to maintain a polished appearance
• Assembling and Disassembling furniture.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or property managers.
• Ensure tools and materials are stored properly, maintaining a tidy workspace.
• Record details of completed tasks, receipts and materials used accurately.
• Cleaning residential properties, removing weeds from driveways and patios.

Requirements

• Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
• A clean driving licence is required.
• Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role.
• Solid understanding of general maintenance techniques.
• Competence in safely operating hand and power tools.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
