We are excited to offer an opportunity for an Exterior Cleaner to join our team. Based out of Hemel Hempstead, this role involves travelling across the UK, working in vibrant cities like London and serene rural areas. Initially, this position will start as part-time during training, which will be conducted by our senior operatives. Once training is complete it will progress to a full time position where you’ll work in a team of two, responsible for your own van and jobs.

Your work will include cleaning homes, industrial sites, and schools, with some jobs requiring a DBS check. You'll have direct communication with the director and senior management, ensuring quick responses to any queries.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of exterior cleaning tasks, including:
• Roof cleaning to remove moss, algae, and debris.
• Driveway and patio cleaning using pressure washing and soft washing techniques.
• Gutter cleaning to ensure proper water flow and prevent blockages.
• Steam cleaning for delicate surfaces and environmentally sensitive areas.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, soft wash systems, and steam cleaners, ensuring they are in good working order.
• Conduct thorough site assessments to determine the best cleaning approach for different surfaces and conditions.
• Adhere to all safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices, especially when working at heights.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by being professional, courteous, and responsive to client needs.
• Document job progress with before-and-after photos and maintain accurate records of completed tasks.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure smooth job execution and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in maintaining company vehicles and tools to uphold professional standards.

Requirements

• Experience:
• Previous experience in exterior cleaning, construction, or maintenance is an advantage but not essential. Full training will be provided.

• Physical Fitness:
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physically capable of lifting, moving, and operating heavy equipment.

• Technical Skills: (Is an advantage but not essential Full training will be provided.)
• Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as pressure washers, steam cleaners, and soft wash systems.
• Basic understanding of different surface materials and appropriate cleaning techniques.

• Workplace Safety:
• Ability to work safely at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or harnesses.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations is a plus.

• Attention to Detail
• A meticulous approach to cleaning and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

• Communication Skills:
• Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
• Proficiency in documenting job details and progress.

• Customer Service:

• Flexibility and Reliability:
• Willingness to travel across the UK and work in diverse environments, from urban areas like London to rural locations.

• A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Pay: From £26,000.00 per year
