Full job description

We are looking for a Street Cleansing Operative in Burnham on Sea (TA8).

Monday to Friday 6am – 2pm apart from Tuesday which is 10am to 6pm.

This is a contract running from July for three months.

Duties will include:

  • Sweeping and cleaning the streets within a radius.
  • Digging up weeds.
  • Litter picking and emptying litter bins.
  • Working within the street cleansing team.
  • Pushing the street cleaner barrow and use of the mechanical sweeper.
  • Acting in a professional manner with the public.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Clean UK driving license is essential for this role.
  • Labouring work or heavy manual work
  • Delivering high standards of customer care.
  • Health & Safety in an operational environment
  • Motivated and reliable
