Estate Groundskeeper / General Hand (Part-Time)
Location: Hesdin Estate, Wiltshire

We’re on the lookout for a reliable, hands-on, and enthusiastic person to join our growing team here at Hesdin Estate. You’ll play a key role in keeping our luxury holiday homes and beautiful estate grounds looking their absolute best.

No two days are the same at Hesdin—every guest changeover brings something new! As our Groundskeeper, you’ll be the go-to person for making sure everything outdoors is guest-ready. Whether you’re tidying up garden spaces, restocking logs and supplies, collecting linens, or making the pool sparkle, your work will help create an unforgettable guest experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Keeping outdoor spaces in top shape: cleaning BBQs and outdoor kitchens, sweeping patios, washing windows, and emptying bins.
• Sanitising shared areas like the pool house and games rooms, and checking play equipment is clean and safe.
• Restocking guest essentials like logs and matches.
• Helping with light landscaping – weeding, mowing, and keeping driveways tidy.
• Collecting and delivering linens across the properties.
• Carrying out regular changeover checks and supporting the maintenance team with minor fixes.
• Reporting anything that needs bigger repairs.
• Pitching in when things get busy – every team member helps where needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude and great attention to detail.
• Someone who can manage their own workload and adapt when priorities shift.
• You don’t need prior experience, but any background in hospitality or maintenance is a bonus.
• Confident using basic tech like smartphones and checklists.

The Details:

• Temporary 6-month contract with the potential to become permanent.
• Part-time: 12 hours/week
• Working days: Monday & Friday, 9:30am – 3:30pm
• Pay: £12.23 per hour

Hesdin Estate is tucked away in the scenic Wiltshire countryside near Chapmanslade. We’ve got 20 acres of peaceful space, five luxury holiday homes (with more to come!), and some very friendly animal residents—including alpacas, pigs, and goats.
