Trainee Vehicle Mechanic

£28,550 (On the road OTE £44k)

This is an Accelerated Development Program – so get ready to learn fast. From fine-tuning your skills to revving-up your knowledge, if you want to get your career off to a flying start, this is the place for you.

If you’re a people person, a great listener, and an avid problem solver, you’ll fit right in. Everything else, we’ll teach you.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Duration: Across 18-months, you’ll dive into the latest automotive technologies, attending workshops led by our inhouse training experts.
  • Mentorship: You’ll be paired with a seasoned patrol expert, benefitting from one-on-one guidance.
  • Real-World Experience: You’ll gain practical on-the-job experience.
  • Certification: Earn IMI and EV certifications that will set you apart in the industry.
  • End of the programme: You’ll become a fully competent roadside AA Patrol, and have access to increased pay and benefits.
  • Start Date: October and November 2024

What you’ll need

  • Some experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Customer service experience
  • A full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less. If you don’t also have category BE (towing) license, we’ll fund it for you.
  • Flexibility, and the willingness to work shifts which could include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
