Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Ground Worker Labourer to join our team in <LOCATION>. This role involves assisting with various groundworks and site preparation tasks, supporting the construction and maintenance teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality on site. Responsibilities

  • Assisting with site clearance, including removing debris and organising materials
  • Digging trenches, holes, or foundations as directed by supervisors
  • Assisting with the installation of temporary fencing, barriers, and signage
  • Moving materials around the site using appropriate manual handling techniques
  • Supporting team members with setting up equipment and tools for various tasks
  • Ensuring the work area remains clean, organised, and safe at all times
  • Following health and safety procedures diligently to minimise risks on site

Experience

  • Previous experience in groundworks or construction is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
  • Good physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Basic understanding of health and safety practices within a construction environment
