Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a 'Timber Gate Installer' to join our gate installation teams. This role involves the breaking out of old gate posts and installing new posts with timber driveway gates.

This will be done in conjunction with our electricians installing gate automation, so groundwork preparation will also be required for providing ducting and ground sensors.

The ideal candidate will need some experience in ground works or construction-related disciplines.

The candidate will be working as part of a team with future prospects of leading their own team.

The position is a physical manual outdoor role.

We are only considering applicants within a 10 mile radius of CO10 0BJ.

Duties

  • Breaking out of old gate posts with breakers.
  • Setting new gate post in concrete foundations.
  • Breaking out wire ducting channels and ground sensor holes.
  • Setting gate automation ground boxes by gate posts.
  • Hanging new double leaf timber driveway gates.
  • Assisting with new cabling in conjunction to our electricians when required.
  • Good physical fitness to handle lifting required.
  • Polite and friendly manner required as working directly with end customers.
  • Occasional days may be required to manufacture timber gates in our workshop where training will be given.

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
