Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring deliveries are made within working hours. The role is long distance driving not multi-drop.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a van for the delivery of goods to various locations (2-6 drops max on planned route).
  • Load and unload items from the van, ensuring that all goods are secured properly during transit.
  • Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any necessary paperwork.
  • Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving to ensure safety on the road.

Requirements

  • Valid driving licence, experience in commercial driving is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver is advantageous.
  • Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.

Full-time self employed with 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)

Starting from £2400 Month

Van, fuel card and uniform provided.

Suitable home parking for a 3m van.
