Delivery Driver – 4 Days Per Week Join a Friendly Family Business with Over 60 Years of Experience

NO WEEKEND WORK AND EVERY WEDNESDAY OFF

Edwards Dairies is a customer-focused, family-run company delivering fresh milk and groceries throughout North Wales and the Borders. Customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our team.

Your Role

This is a permanent delivery round where, following your training period, you will take responsibility for the same route each week. As you become familiar with your customers, delivery locations and products, the role becomes easier, more efficient and highly rewarding.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering milk and additional products accurately to customers.
  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Taking pride in maintaining a clean and presentable company vehicle.
  • Using a smartphone to access delivery and customer information.
  • Managing your route efficiently and working independently.
  • Respecting customer property and delivery requests.
  • Helping maintain a clean and organised depot environment.
  • Being a dependable member of our team.

What We're Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
  • Able to work independently and use your own initiative.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Delivery or van driving experience is desirable but not essential.

Working Hours

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday

✅ Every Wednesday Off

✅ Every Weekend Off

Early morning starts between 12am and 2am, depending on the size of the round.

Training

Full training is provided.

Training typically lasts 2-3 weeks, during which you'll work alongside an experienced driver to learn the route, products, delivery procedures and customer requirements.

Once training is complete, you'll take over your own regular delivery round, allowing you to build relationships with your customers and become familiar with the route.
