Yard Operative / Storeperson / Driver

Company Digger Parts Direct

Location: Poole, Dorset

Hours: 30 hours per week (6 hours per day, 5 days per week)

Digger Parts Direct is seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join our team in Poole. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficient yard operations, managing stock, and supporting customer deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure the yard is well-organised

- Process and dispatch customer orders in a timely manner

- Safely move plant machinery and equipment around the yard

- Deliver stock to customers and collect plant machinery using a trailer

- Assist with general yard maintenance and housekeeping

Requirements

- Previous experience in the motor trade, plant hire, or a similar environment

- Full, clean UK driving licence with towing experience

- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

- Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer service
