Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café. You will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of food preparation and service, maintaining food safety protocols, and leading a team of staff in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to create an inviting atmosphere for both customers and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily café operations, ensuring exceptional service and product quality.
  • Lead, train, and manage café staff to foster a positive team environment.
  • Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain efficient operations.
  • Handle customer complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service during peak hours.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including dining spaces and kitchen facilities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a café, restaurant, or hotel setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
  • A passion for hospitality
