Job Overview

In order to apply for this position you must hold either an HC or SVQL7 - Childhood practice. This is essential.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Early Years Practitioner. to lead and support our early childhood education programs. This dynamic role involves overseeing administrative operations, coordinating with teaching staff, and ensuring a nurturing environment for young learners. As a senior team member, you will play a vital part in shaping positive educational experiences and fostering a vibrant community for children, parents, and staff alike. Your energy, organization, and commitment to early childhood development will drive the success of our programs and inspire excellence at every level.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily administrative functions related to early years education, including scheduling, record keeping, and communication with parents and staff
  • Support teachers by coordinating lesson plans, resource allocation, and classroom logistics to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist in the implementation of curriculum standards aligned with early childhood development best practices
  • Foster strong relationships with families by providing guidance, updates, and addressing concerns promptly and professionally
  • Organize training sessions, workshops, and team meetings to promote continuous professional growth among staff
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation for inspections and audits
  • Contribute to creating an engaging, safe, and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social-emotional growth among young children

Requirements

  • Proven experience in teaching or working within early childhood education settings
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and external partners
  • Knowledge of curriculum development principles and early childhood development standards
  • Ability to lead with enthusiasm, motivate team members, and foster a positive workplace culture
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within a vibrant educational environment
  • A relevant qualification in early childhood education or a related field is preferred
