Vision Homes Association is seeking passionate, local individuals to join our team in Ludlow, Shropshire as Relief Support Workers. This is your chance to make a lasting impact in your community.

Support Worker - Full and Part Time Contracts

Pay: £12.75 per hour (days)

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of this role, we are looking for candidates who live within 30 minutes travel of Ludlow, Shropshire and we are NOT able to offer new or transfer in Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

Vision Homes Association is a respected not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering adults with multiple disabilities to lead rich, fulfilling lives. We are looking for dedicated, local people from Ludlow and the surrounding Shropshire area to join our friendly, supportive team at our registered care homes.

What You'll Do (And Why It Matters):

As a Support Worker, you'll provide vital physical assistance and emotional reassurance to individuals within our care homes and out in the vibrant local community. Your days will be dynamic and full of purpose as you:

  • Empower Independence: Assist with daily living activities in a caring and respectful manner.
  • Provide Personalized Care: Implement individualized care plans tailored to each person's unique needs.
  • Build Connections: Communicate effectively with the people we support, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Facilitate Adventures: Support individuals to attend appointments, outings, and engaging activities.
  • Essential Support: Provide assistance with personal care or medication for those who require it.

As we provide support 365 days a year, you must be flexible and available to undertake a rolling rota shift pattern every 4 weeks which will include weekdays, weekends, and Bank Holidays. Shift patterns include:

  • Early Shift: 7 am – 2.30 pm
  • Late Shift: 2.30 pm – 10 pm
