Full job description

We are seeking a motivated and hard-working Bank Facilities Assistant to join our Facilities team at Brighton General Hospital and surrounding health clinics.

This is a flexible (bank) role, offering varied hours to meet service needs. Shifts will be scheduled between 07:00 and 20:00, Monday to Friday , providing cover across multiple sites.

Base locations include:
Brighton General Hospital

Morley Street Dental Clinic

Moulsecoomb Health Centre

177 Preston Road

As this is a bank position, there are no guaranteed hours, and shifts will be offered based on service requirements.

We are looking for individuals who are reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.

Previous experience (particularly experience in a healthcare setting) would be an advantage but not essential because full training will be provided.

The role will perform duties according to the requirements of the various areas of our premises, in compliance with standards and legislation.

The role will combine a mixture of tasks, allowing the service to maximise efficiency with multi skilled staff to improve patient experience. This position will include some manual handling and physical work. Please see the job description and person specification for full details.
