Full job description

About the role

We are seeking an additional Executive Support Officer to work alongside colleagues in the Executive Support Team who provide secretarial and administrative support to our political and senior leadership team (SLT).

Reporting into the Executive Support Team Manager you will be responsible for secretarial and administrative support to designated SLT members and supporting the Team Manager, for example through assisting with the management of Director diaries and meetings.

About you

Previous knowledge and experience of supporting senior leaders is beneficial and a track record of accuracy and dealing sensitively and appropriately with confidential information is essential. This is a very busy role and therefore excellent resilience, time management, and prioritisation skills are key, as well as strong ICT skills particularly with regard to Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint.

About us

EDDC is an organisation which works together with local people to create great value services and an outstanding community, economy and environment in which people want to live, work, visit and enjoy now, and for future generations. And with our wide range of health and wellbeing benefits, our highly flexible and collaborative hybrid Worksmart working arrangements as well as our commitment to continuous learning and development, you can be confident of joining a dedicated community of colleagues who are Happy, Healthy and Here.
