Early Years Practitioner 16-35+ hours per week

WE HAVE VACANCIES AT BOTH OUR SETTINGS
EAST HULL - HOLDERNESS ROAD AND WEST HULL - MANOR ROAD

We are looking for strong, experienced practitioners to work in our busy Pre-School Rooms.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young Children's Learning and development in a fun, nurturing stimulating environment.

We are recruiting for both level 2 and level 3 practitioners, hours per week and shift times can be discussed for the right candidates

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
  • Manage daily routines, ensuring that all children's needs are met, including personal care and hygiene.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery environment, promoting a culture of learning and inclusivity.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education.

Experience

  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required to effectively engage with children and families.
  • Proven ability to manage groups of children safely and effectively while fostering an enjoyable learning atmosphere.
  • Leadership skills are advantageous for guiding less experienced staff and supporting team dynamics.

Must hold a full and relevant level 2 or level 3 qualification.
Health and Social Care need not apply.
