Medical Receptionist – part time – shifts available (full and part days)

We are a friendly and busy GP surgery looking for an outgoing and flexible individual to join our reception team. We need cover for a variety of shifts am and pm throughout the week.

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be an essential part of our healthcare team, responsible for managing patient interactions and administrative tasks. Reporting to the reception manager, your core skills in office and administrative experience will ensure smooth operations within the practice. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, and handle medical records, all while maintaining a welcoming environment. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be vital in supporting our healthcare professionals and enhancing patient satisfaction. Join us in delivering exceptional care and service to our community.

Experience of working within the NHS and in a busy, dynamic environment is required however full support and training will be given. Solid IT knowledge and experience is essential. The successful applicant will join our team to facilitate all aspects of the clinician/patient relationship. You will be proactive with a passion for and commitment to high level customer service.

We are located near Reading in a lovely setting with good rail links and free parking.
