Position:

Earnings: £12.71 + service charge for an average of £14h

Location: London, EC2M 3YD

Contract type: Permanent, shifts falling between 9am and 11pm, 5 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays.

As a Barback, you’ll support the bartenders in service by ensuring they have the equipment, ingredients, and garnishes they need to ensure smooth and quick service. The Barback is also responsible for ensuring a clean, well-stocked, tidy, and sanitised bar area. This is the perfect opportunity for someone interested in learning more about the drinks and spirits industry.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING...

• support the bartenders with ensuring that the bar has adequate levels of stock available throughout the service.
• washing glassware and replenishing ice and stock
• set-up of the bar stations: fruits, herbs, garnishes, spirits, syrups, glassware, tools, etc
• ensuring the bar is always visually appealing to guests, replenishing any displays.
• tiding, cleaning and sanitising bar areas and seating areas.

Requirements:

• A positive, friendly attitude.
• An interest in a career within the bar industry. Previous experience working in a bar is beneficial.
• strong teamwork stills.
• Willingness to be flexible and support multiple teams.availability to work flexibly between 9am and 11.30pm as we cannot offer set shifts or days off. Available for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Fluent in English.
