Based in the Herefordshire village of Much Marcle, Westons Cider is an independent cider-making Company, making premium award-winning ciders since 1880.

We have a superb opportunity for energetic and passionate individuals to be responsible for driving sales growth and brand visibility for Westons Cider across the On Trade by developing strong customer and Routes to Market relationships, securing new business opportunities, managing regional accounts, and ensuring high standards of brand presentation and distribution within the assigned territory.

Working with our Business Unit Controller and National Account Manager to manage relationships with the senior and regional staff of the key focus National Routes to Market (Greene King, LWC & Molson Coors) and to actively seek opportunities to gain new outlet stockists for Westons & New Venture brands.

This is not your usual sales job! Your days will be varied, and your focus will change from month to month, so you will need to enjoy variety and thrive on the opportunities that such a fast-paced environment offers.

Your natural enthusiasm and passion for selling the best cider portfolio in the country, alongside your personality will help you reach your objectives. You will also provide valuable insight and feedback on competitor activities to enable Westons to always be at the cutting edge.

As Regional Account Manager, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Previous experience within the drinks industry
  • Knowledge of the current drinks market
  • Established relationships and networks across key National and Regional Routes to Market.
  • Results driven, with a proactive approach to achieving results and identifying growth opportunities
  • Confident and professional in approach
  • Computer Literate and confident in using Microsoft Office packages.
  • Able to identify and deliver incremental business opportunities
  • Positive and adaptable attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build good rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • Capable of working under pressure, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • To work well as part of a team as well as under own initiative
  • Flexible in both hours of working and tasks
  • It is a requirement of the role to live within the assigned geographic area
  • Driving Licence
  • A Levels (or equivalent)

Desirable:

  • Broad commercial understanding of the drinks, FMCG, or hospitality sectors and associated Routes to Market.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify market opportunities and support sales performance.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic customer partnerships and drive commercial growth
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and identify opportunities to drive business growth
  • Degree in a relatable field (or equivalent)
